Under 14 Boys

An Mhaigh Under 14 boys had a week to remember in section 3A of the league last week when defeating two of the top teams in this grade. On Wednesday 15th April, the young Sky Blues entertained near neighbours Eglish and won on an incredible scoreline of 10-15 to 4-9.

Then, last Saturday morning (18th April), An Mhaigh travelled to the home of league leaders Clonoe. In what was a terrific team performance, the Moy boys became the first side to beat the O’Rahilly’s this season when they scored a fully deserved 7-6 to 5-4 victory. An Mhaigh have now leapt to second place in the table and, with three games remaining, are well positioned to qualify for the league quarter-finals.
